California Lighthouse

Perched on the island’s northernmost tip, the California Lighthouse is one of Aruba’s most popular attractions. The lighthouse itself is closed to the public, but the surrounding area offers some spectacular views.

It takes its name from the California, a passenger ship shipwrecked off the coast in 1891 and now one of Aruba’s most popular dive sites.

La Trattoria el Faro Blanco, a romantic Italian restaurant, sits nearby and was once the home of the lighthouse keeper.
