Aruba's Economy

Aruba enjoys one of the highest standards of living in the Caribbean, with tourism being the mainstay of the economy. Each year the island receives approximately 750,000 overnight visitors and around 600,000 cruise ship passengers. The majority (around 75%) come from the US, followed by those from South America and the Netherlands.
