Easing the Pain

Several hotels in Aruba are offering incentives to help ease the pain of new passport requirements introduced by the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative. Travellers visiting Aruba with new passports (unstamped by another country) will be offered food and beverage credits by the Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort, Renaissance, Westin, MVC Eagle Beach and the Boardwalk Boutique Hotel.


Westin Aruba Resort Opening December

The new 478-room Westin Aruba Resort on Palm Beach will open on December 20 2006. They are now accepting bookings.


Radisson Spa Opens

The 13,000 square foot oceanfront Larimar Spa at the Radisson Aruba Resort & Casino is now open. Costing $5.2 million, the spa offers nine separate treatment rooms, a fitness centre and a full-service salon.
