Taxis
Aruba’s taxis don’t have meters, but rates are fixed by the government. Agree a fare to your destination before you get in.
Typical fares are:
- Palm Beach/High-rise hotels – Airport $20
- Eagle Beach/Low-rise hotels – Airport $17
- Oranjestad – Airport $10
A surcharge is added on Sundays, public holidays and after midnight.
Taxis can hold up to 5 persons by law.
